Romantic comedy as high art

No escaping that this is a romantic comedy, at least broadly defined. But it escapes being maudlin, predictable, and forced. Fine performances, good writing, and an engaging cast make this a true pleasure, escapist and yet substantial. Perfect!
Yes, I recommend this movie.
