Much like the Star Trek The Wrath of Khan, Trek always seems to get better when an outsider (like Nick Meyer and JJ Adams) reapproaches the material. Trek now has a kind of "Bourne Identity" drive, where action is far more interesting than characters standing around talking. One thing needs to be improved - those Enterprise shirts. Pullovers over mock turtleneck tops look sloppy - everyone knows velour with hidden zippers is the look!
Yes, I recommend this movie.
