Good Laughs - No Tears

I did like this movie - but unlike the other reviewers, I can't say it was a GREAT film. Our 9 year old stayed with it fine, but our 7 year old was squirmy through about half of it. It didn't really hold her attention through-out. There were several good laughter moments, but I found that I was laughing while a lot of it went over my kids' heads. On the other hand, other very small kids in the audience did laugh. Also, other kids' movies generally have a tear-jerker moment - yes, even the animated ones go for that gut level yank. Nothing in this film did that for me. All in all, it was still worth going.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
