Lives up to hype

I found the new Star Trek movie a great addition to the franchise. Lots of action, plot twists and just enough humor to keep things moving along. The only things I didn't care for were the changes in the engine room configuration (where is the warp drive?) and the command deck (looked like something out of Stargate SG-1 with all the transparent vertical display panels). Most of the actors played their roles believably, though the future with no planet Vulcan is not the universe we know and love.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
