Overhyped! A big let down!

I was very excited to go see the film, and what a disappointment!!! I normally don't spend time reviewing films, whether I like them or not. After 10 mins of seeing the same things over and over (basically the little max self-indulging his violent ego in his fantasy land destroying things with the wild things), the film quickly looses steam. It's basically hard to salvage anything from the film apart from the cute sad animal facial expressions and luscious landscapes distilled over and over again throughout the movie. Had the film been a 15min short, it would have been just fine. Don't let the rave reviews fool you, or the nice trailer (the best thing about this movie unfortunately).
No, I do not recommend this movie.
