Meryl Streep is gorgeous in this movie! Take 10 steps back all you young starletts! You have nothing on her. And Alec Baldwin? What can I say but I am now a bone fide fan of the man!! Quick wit and incredible deliver on his part, and Streeps depth and amazing ability to be as funny as she can be serious made this movie truly brilliant! Add the supporting cast and you have a must see. You'll walk out of the theatre with a smile on your face. And for all women out there over 40: rise and keep Streep's character in mind. We are all beautiful, smart, sexy and so worth everything life has to offer!! Amazing how a silly movie can slap you in the face with a reality like that! But It's Complicated...................... did!
Yes, I recommend this movie.

What can you say about Robert Downey Jr. and Jude Law as Holmes and Watson but YUMMY!!
Great to look at and they give us reason to laugh out loud in this movie. An added plus to this movie is that for those of us who love our movies to make us think, it's a winner. Clever dialogue a constant and the gift of hidden clues, both in dialogue and visually, made this one of the most entertaining movies I've had the pleasure of watching in a very long time. Go, sit back, but don't relax too much! You'll miss out on your powers of deduction if you do.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

a bit sappy, but sweet and visually lovely

Not nearly as funny as I thought it would be, this movie still provided me with a sense of joy. Even through the predictable scenarios and sappy moments I found pleasure in the idea of pursuing romance and even more pleasure in the beauty of the main character: Ireland. It alone made my heart pound. Don't see the movie if you bah hum bug love and its possibilities, but do if you're open to finding pleasure in life's simple things and the beauty of a place called Ireland.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
