The IMax 3D was gross. Everything about it was awesome. The movie is as most people have heard:badass. Even with the replacement of Ed Norton, the continuity worked very well, the story fit into place very well, and the landscapes they created were very real and detailed. My only complaint: they had so many intricate stories of the main characters, the overall plot seemed shallow and rushed. In fact, everything was rushed. I think that's just a side effect of trying to take decades of graphic novels and shove them into 2 hours and 30 minutes of action and decent plot. Still, an extremely entertaining movie.
I couldn't have been happier with this film. I really hope this is one of many with this very well put together cast. I'm not even a Star Trek fan and I loved it.
