Perfect Epic Film for Tweens

As the parents of a newly minted teen, having Alice as a companion that embodies the spirit of the age is perfect.
The white queen was an exceptionally meaningful paradigm because she was not a saint. Hathaway revealed that even the epitome of purity has it's dark edges, that a vow can be made & followed but that compliance to the vow, in her case not to 'harm a living thing', is not always desired or easy.
A film to give the young women in your life the opportunity to reinvent themselves with an eye toward their own expectations, which may far outstrap those of popular culture.
This and the film was a Disnified visual feast.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
