This was such a powerful movie. There were scenes that I couldn't breath and goosebumps ran up my spine. There were Dejavu moments that resonated with me because I had those same nuns back in the 60's as well. In 1964 I was in 4th grade at a school very much like the one in the movie. The performance by each of the major characters were incredible . Viola Davis, for the smaller part that she had, gave an outstanding, wonderful and heart wrenching performance. I can't say enough god things about this movie. You will relate on all levels.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
