Just ok, Taylor not believable

I am a devoted fan of the books and was looking forward to the movie (although New Moon is my least favorite book) While the special effects were good and scenes with Kristen, Rob, the Cullens and Volturi were satisfying, I found it very hard to believe Taylor. There was no chemistry between Bella and Jacob as potential love interests and the scenes with Taylor were like watching paint dry (Sorry but the people I was with all felt the same). Other than Kristen's scenes, the film lacked the emotionality of the book. They didn't capture the emotional satisfaction that you get in the book when Alice shows up and when Bella reaches Edward in time. I would only recommend this movie to people who read the book. Still, I can't wait for Eclipse!
