Two minutes into this "thing" and you are concerned. Another three minutes and you are seriously worried. Ten minutes later you know you are in for the longest movie of your life. No wonder in a theater of 200 only ten seats are filled. Somehow I missed the horrible reviews.
How could this have even been released? It will be on DVD in a month and on sale in the $2 video dump box a day later.
No, I do not recommend this movie.

We all love babies. So feel guilty and see this movie and figure out for yourself why you wasted your good money and valuable time. No narration, no points other than those you want to make up to allow yourself to feel righteously liberal and worldly.
And of course we have the American baby shown hooked up to all sorts of medical contraptions. And a stay at home dad for us Americans while all other countries are either so poor we have to feel guilty the dads are at work. Or those other countries are more natural and holistic so we can feel even more perverse for our advanced medical system and way of life.
Bottom line....skip it.....

A worldly expression often used to calibrate life in its fullest…expect nothing and appreciate everything……..this movie was a testament to that expression…..I expected nothing and was not disappointed……what could have been a great movie was NOT……. Brooding lead that could never smile……ridiculous reasons for anger…..timelines that are less than accurate…….limo ride to school and walk home inconsistencies…….just simply poorly written, directed and acted……..with the exception of Pierce……always stellar…….
Nicolas Cage does a nice job in this picture. It is a good story that could have been better. In the end it was well done and worth the watch. Great special effects. Some screwy stuff that made no sense.....what's up with the black rocks......they never answered that one......yet in the end it was a great thriller and fun to watch.........
I did not see the previews and somehow missed the reviews as well. I did not even know of anyone that saw this and simply took a shot at it with my 21 year old daughter. We both loved the movie and found ourselves laughing the next day about our favorite parts. Paul Rudd and the entire cast were amazing. And personally the blond wife with the butt head husband was beyond beautiful....WOW....this movie is a classic and will endure for many years....I highly suggest you see it and certainly buy the DVD when it comes out....
