This is a movie about a dog, but also about real life, marriage and kids, with all the good times, changes and hardships that go into it.
Lots of humor throughout, but an ending so close to home that it hit me in the gut and made me want to run out of the theater before it was over. But I stayed. Understand, I'm the guy in the theater that ribs my wife about crying during movies, this one had me searching my pockets for my own kleenex.
Pet lovers beware, while this is a must see movie, it is all too real.
Parents beware, I do not think this would be a great movie for young children.
The begining of the movie is a bit confusing, but you just have to go along for the whole ride to get the full effect of this very interesting movie.
This is definatly not a holiday happy movie, but on the other hand, it is a very serious movie about giving. Overall I found it to be a very powerful experience, well worth the price of admission. P. S. Take pleanty of Kleenex, its pretty rough when the popcorn salt on your napkin gets in your wife's eyes!
