Entertaining take on a serious subject

My teenage son and I both enjoyed this film. It's lighthearted in presentation but manages to be very informative about the hows and whys of our teetering national economy. And we loved the animation!
Yes, I recommend this movie.

Painfully bad even for action fans

I love action movies and all the actors in this film but Stallone really wastes their talents. The gun play and fights are beyond implausible; the dialogue is wooden and the attempts at banter are pathetic. My kids and I started laughing about 10 minutes in and were rolling on the floor by the end.
No, I do not recommend this movie.

OK but not great

Lots of action, arrows falling through the sky, etc. but the mood is a little dark. We preferred Prince of Persia which is just a fun movie and beautiful to look at.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

Funny and insightful

Laugh out loud funny and bittersweet at the same time. I hope everyone sees this and not just members of the black community. Great for anyone over say, 15 (explicit discussions of how weaves affect ability to have "relations") who wants to laugh and also consider larger issues.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

More Madea, Less Subplot

I'm a middle-aged, middle class black woman and I love Tyler Perry/Madea. I wish he would just do Madea nonstop and cut out the long-winded subplots about good girls gone bad. The screen crackles when Ms. Motormouth is up there; the movie drags when she's not. The montage of black disk jockeys getting Madea out of jail is a classic -- we need more depictions like this, Mr. Perry!
Yes, I recommend this movie.
