Excellent movie...IMAX, not so much.

Star Trek was an excellent movie, but seeing it in IMAX was not necessarily worth it. I say this, because I saw it in the regular theater first, and loved the story, the nostalgia, the actors, the action, and the overall quality. So, I was determined to see it again on IMAX. However, even though the movie was great a second time around, the IMAX experience wasn't that much better to say that spending the extra $ for admission was worth it.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
