From young to old, this is a great movie like Disney used to make. It's like an original 50's Disney with love and song. The 3D effects are great in some areas, but not always as obviousas I like to see, but the characters are all so loveable, including Maximus the horse, with a theme followable by the youngest. Great work, Disney!!!
Loved the movie. The whole concept of toys protecting each other and having such heart but this movie has a dark side that didn't have to be that dark. I felt it was unnecessary with the scarey girl doll and the bad dolls taking away from the intended heart of the movie. It also may have been the theater but I don't think the 3D effects were engaged to their maximum potential.
The animals were all great but the story-line was a little weak. The ending was the best part of the 3-D. We felt like the 3D didn't have much impact through most of the movie until the end. Worth seeing with my 5 year-old.
This is a very sweet movie on many levels - it entertained us all. Lots of gentle "lessons" & plenty of laughs. I can't think of anyone who wouldn't enjoy seeing this movie. The 3D was done so perfectly that I forgot it was 3D. We see every family movie that comes out & this is at the top of the list. We also really enjoyed the Pixar short filom that was shown before the movie about the clouds & are looking forward to Toy Story 3!!
