Colin Firth, Geoffrey Rush and Helena Bonham Carter turn in epic performances in this gem from The Weinstein Company and director Tom Hooper. You will believe that Colin Firth suffers from a stammering problem; he captures the nuances of this affliction perfectly. He is eminently believable as a member of the Royal family and as King George VI. Geoffrey Rush is also superb as speech therapist Lionel Logue and Helena Bonham Carter excels as the Queen Mother. These individual performances are set amongst a totally believable war-time London and Buckingham Palace. This film is superb, don't miss it!
