Do you have a 9-12 year old girl that you would like to impress? Just take her to this movie and smile while she screams along with the rest of the audience. Nothing inappropriate, a screaming good time for all.

The drawings and animation in this movie are definitely above average, as are the 3D effects. There are some nice messages about parents loving their children even when they don't agree, and about people needing to just be themselves. Food aside though, there just isn't much meat to the plot. This didn't bother my children at all, however. It's a fine movie for an afternoon with the kids, but don't bring a date.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
