A star-studded cast can't lift this film above mediocrity. The pace is slow and the lines are not funny. Ben Affleck is looking excellent, however, and Jennifer Connelly is the only actor that allows the audience into her heart. I'm just not that into the film.
No, I do not recommend this movie.

It is the best movie of the year and I hope Danny Boyle gets all the recognition he deserves. Brilliant screenplay, inspired casting and the most creative cinematography I've seen in years.

If you are a SATC fan, you will love the movie. Any reviewer who panned the film was clearly not a fan of the HBO series. If all you can see is the designer labels, you're not getting the underlying message of the fabulous four--friendship, loyalty, forgiveness, respect and love--for oneself and one another. Two thumbs up from this movie-goer. And I've already seen it twice!
