NINE was entertaining, but fell just short of what I had hoped for.
Fergie and Kate Hudson both gave fabulous performances and broke from character,
(although Kate was seriously channelling her Mom's go go personality from Laugh In).

Penelope Cruz and Sophia Loren are two of the most stunning women on the planet.
Marion Cotillard is the successor to Audrey Hepburn/Leslie Caron.
Day Lewis as usual became his character, He does have the chain smoking "lean & hungry" look we have come to associate with Fellini, DeSica etc.
The film dragged at times, thank god for "Cinema Italiano", or I might still be sleeping in the theatre.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
