Someone said Avatar is groundbreaking in the way that Star Wars was for it's day but technology has come so far since then, it's hard to compare. I prefer going into a movie with minimal knowledge about it. I heard part of the 60 Minutes segment with James Cameron on the radio which was enough to make me want to see it. I give it an A++ for creativity and imagination and yes the 3D Imax has taken us at warp speed into new territory visually and audibly. Anyone who disagrees has no appreciation for either creative genius or imagination. I give it 10 stars out of 5! James Cameron hit a home run. Gonna wait till the video? You're cheating yourself.
