As someone who has read the series, i felt as though the movie did reach my expectations. I love the series and the movie did not come close to what i thought it would be. True, it is not fair to compare the books to a movie because it is almost impossible to match the book. However, much of the movie seemed rushed, as though they were not taking the time to capture the essence of the book. The action and the actors were great, but what killed the movie is the lack of devlopement in the story. It was made for the hard core twilght fans like myself, but it would be difficult to understand if the series had not been previously read. The movie did not give me the same emotions as the book & that is the whole point of it becoming a movie.
No, I do not recommend this movie.
