A Perfect Family Film

A great cast of characters - human and animal - battle to save Narnia from the evil Telmarines. But it's not all battle scenes. There's gorgeous scenery and lots of fun special effects, including the feeling of soaring on the wings of giant birds atop castle towers -- very cool! We took our Girl Scout troop, who had all read the book, and they loved it and cheered at the end. But even the younger ones with us, who had not read the book, enjoyed it just as much. Highly recommended for the whole family. There were a few scary moments for the 7 and under crowd -- including a brief appearance from the White Witch -- but nothing that would deter them from wanting to see this movie again and again. We had many requests to buy this movie as soon as it's available. A wonderful film.
