I'd heard the hype, read the notions of Heath Ledger's possible Oscar nomination / win and thought...c'mon, can it really be THAT GOOD? The answer, this is quite possible the best movie I have ever seen. Non-stop action from beginning to end, a Joker that you can really sink your teeth into, and Bales' performance of The Batman is once again stellar. I left the theater wanting nothing more than to plop down my money again and sit in for another go round. Earlier in the summer I had considered IRON MAN as the best superhero movie of all time, now I question Iron Man who??. THE DARK KNIGHT will not disapoint and will leave you wanting more.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
