LOR set the bar, Hobbit maintains that and maybe a bit more. Story follows closely to the book, actors give life and add there talent to it. Special affects again are excellent. Now lets talk about HFR 3D, crisp clean with an odd enhanced feeling. Did I like it, or should I say dislike it? I would say I was ok with it one way or the other, 3D was very good and I admit I flinched a couple of times. In my defense when a lopped off head comes flying at you I think I can be excused my momentary hysteria.
Go see it, enjoy it, WHY do I have to wait for the next two!
Pros well paced, great story, great actors

What can I say, reading comics books from an early age using my imagination to fill in the story from a 2D panel and limited dialogue to a live action movie that made me feel like I was back in my teen years again. Cheering and clapping and sometimes even gasping they got it right, nuff said.
I grew up reading Captain America and always has a strong feeling about who I thought he was and what he stood for. I sat in a dark theater watching the movie roll by and I received the same feelings as when I was a child. It isn't what you look like that determines who you are it what you have on the inside that is the most important. Thanks to the actors and actress's who poured there talent into this movie and for giving me a chance to relive those same feelings and share them with my son. Go see this movie even if you are not a true believer it is fun to root for the good guys.
