Not good for casual movie goers

Ok so let me start by saying that I'm not a hard core Harry Potter fan. However in the past I've always felt the individual movies stood on their own, so I didn't feel it necessary to go back and re-watch the first 5 movies. Wow what a mistake.
This move did not stand on its own at all. Sure there were plot lines that unfolded in this movie, however the majority of it was based on ties to previous films.
This film departed from past themes of the 3 main characters working together to solve some mystery. Instead this one explored topics of romantic relationships.
This movie seems to be loved by many, however I was disappointed. I felt like this one was a place holder so that we can get to the last two.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
