I have lowered by evaluation of this website, because I was told that profanity was detected and to correct it, but THERE IS NO PROFANITY IN THIS REVIEW!
I had to expunge the entire review because the stupid software kept detecting a profanity. There was none, so i will simply say that his movie is terrible and don't waste your time.
No, I do not recommend this movie.

This movie is a must see! To take a working class school setting in Paris and through brilliant acting, directing, and scripting unveil the sociological issues of immigration and assimilation is nothing short of miraculous. The children are fantastic, the protagonist is very sympathetic, despite his making a terrible error in judgment.
You may not think this is a movie that will interest you, the settings being limited to the walls (Entre les murs) of the school, but you will be completely engrossed. Trust me!
Yes, I recommend this movie.

Whole New Definition of 'Boring'!

Where's the beef? What a waste of fairly good talent. This is without question one of the most tedious and boring movies I have ever seen. It's incredible the positive reviews from critics. I went with four other movie buffs and we all were screaming with tedium.
In the lobby after the screening, I said in a not-so-quiet stage whisper, "This movie was boring beyond belief," and one woman beside me said, "Thank God, someone feels the same way I do."
If you need a nap, see this film. Ingmar Bergman was a master of family dysfunction. Check out his masterpieces!
No, I do not recommend this movie.
