I never saw the original version so I cannot compare but I did very much enjoy this movie. Haley Steinfeld and Jeff Bridges were amazing. I didn't expect it to make me laugh and cry, but it did.

The movie has some laugh out loud moments. Cracked me up at times. In between was just normal and predictable. Worth renting on DVD, but you probably won't watch over and over so wouldn't suggest buying.

The movie was great and not as predictable as I expected. Sandra Bullock's character was great and there were many scenes that made me laugh.

I really enjoyed this movie. There were funny moments and also good effects. Definitely worth seeing.
My only criticism is that after the 1/2-way point twist, the movie seemed rushed and a bit predictable.
