When I saw the trailer I was not sure I would like the actual film. I was quite surprised by how good the picture turned out to be.

The cgi software is much improved but Michael Bay then goes overboard with it. The movie is 30 minutes too long and doesn't have much in the way of a story line. It does have some bigger laughs, but the humor is not little kid friendly. Darker than the first and even better than the first, but still not a "great" movie.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

I like Will Smith and figured he couldn't make a bad movie. Well this one proved me wrong. There was only a limited amount of humor and the "twist" that was mentioned in a couple of the reviews I read was so obvious that anyone could see it coming. Even some of the cgi was lame.
No, I do not recommend this movie.
