Wanted to love it.......but.......

I LOVED the show, and I loved the first movie, but this sequel was just alright for me. It was long and overindulgent, and some part were downright cring-worthy. Why did we even need Stanford and Anthony's wedding? We never even saw them again for the rest of the movie. The wedding didn't advance the storyline at all. Had the wedding been cut, then maybe the runtime wouldn't have been butt-numbingly long. Both Liza Minnelli singing "Single Ladies" and the karoke "I am Woman" songs made me cringe. It was good to see the girls again, and there were moments I loved ...Miranda making Brady's science fair "For once", or Miranda and Charlotte coming clean about how hard it is to be a mother........but the scenes I loved were brief and too few. Save this one for Netflix.....
No, I do not recommend this movie.
