I don't usually go to movies with high expectations. I just go to be entertained. But Star Trek has always been a big part of my life. I used to go with my dad every Xmas to see them open. But when the nixed it this year to push it for summer release, my expectations grew. They had better deliver if they were going to take away my tradition I had with my dad. I live out of town and only see him every so often and this Xmas was going to it.
Well I didn't get to see it with dad, but it blew me away. It was amazing. It was done right, it makes sense, and it doesn't ruin all the other Star Treks at all. Nice work team.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
