Astonishing Special Effects

Brilliant in 3D. I loved that as Alice grew as a character, her clothes became less frilly, her hair less tight and that she was not rescued by a Prince Charming.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

Fantastic voyage

I loved it. The story weaves the early years of the Star Trek crew and does it in excellent story telling fashion. The action is like new love, thrilling, scary and stimulating all at the same time.
Don't miss seeing it on the big screen.

Wait for cable tv release

Very disappointing
The story/script was even more implausible than the book
All the chase scenes looked the same, almost as if they were using the same footage.
The backdrop of Italy should have been used to better advantage and would have made for a more interesting movie.
Whodunit became so obvious that it was very hard sitting thru the last 3rd of the movie.
The end, the last 15 minutes, was visually more exciting but predictable story-wise.
