Of course this is a wonderful feel-good movie, especially for those who like happy families and winners. The scenery and acting are wonderful, albeit the leading lady is a little predictable. It's not the movie's fault, but there isn't that much real tension, no underdog, no long shot or hope against hope, like in Seabiscuit. It's winner all the way. If the real Penny Tweet was as nice as the character, she was a smart, perfect angel.
I like "true stories." This story is interesting. The movie, however, is a little **too** much information, like 4 episodes in one. And Angelina's makeup is the worst! I never would have believed they would make such a beautiful girl so overdone but, well, I found it distracting.
