The cinematography was wonderful. The sound was even better as Youssou N'Dour, through song, implores his people towards pride in their work and heritage and all people towards tolerance. It was an enjoyable lesson in the African Griot tradition. I expect this film will spread appreciation for Youssou N'Dour’s music and I hope it will help spread more tolerance across the sects of Islam and between all faiths. This represents an excellent direction and production effort under very difficult circumstances, I'm certain.
This movie stayed in motion from start to finish. The young versions of our old favorite characters were well chosen as was the villain. All this with smooth special and you get an excellent sci-fi movie.
