I liked Edward, thought Bella should have smiled a bit more. I was disappointed that the movie did not explain how the Cullen family was formed. I also felt the character development fell a little short. I don't remember Jasper saying a single word, and his special ability wasn't mentioned. The Cullens on the screen were true to the Cullens in the book, but the movie never explained why Rosalie is nasty, why Esme is so loving, and why Carlisle chose to become a doctor.
Overall, I found the movie to be entertaining, and I will see the sequels, I just probably won't go on opening weekend. I only hope they take more time to treat the Cullens as a family of individuals, instead of as couples in the background.
