A good excuse to go to the movies.
Must see on a big screen.Some very good CGI. And looking forward to seeing more of Noomi Rapace in future english speaking films.

Good back-story

Story-wise, this was about as good as a prequill can get. The human/mutant CGI was amazing, but I thought they skimped a bit on the some of the big stuff. Great cast.

Some very talented people got together and created a very special world that enabled a very intricate story to be told with minimal exposition. Big kudos to the actors for doing such a great job of making some really far-fetched notions perfectly believable.

While it may be true that, '...it all began with a mouse.' for Disney, the track balls at Pixar will safely carry it into the future... and beyond.
Other movies may need to rely on big names and mega hype for box office draw, but only Disney/Pixar assures a supremely entertaining movie experience.
