Best comic book movie by far

Saw Iron Man last night, and simply loved it. An intelligent and funny script, marvelous performances -- especially by Robert Downey, Jr. but also by Gwynneth Paltrow and Jeff Bridges -- and stunning, sophisticated effects. Director Jon Favreau creates just the right mix of action and irony, drama and laughs, and the result is a movie that you can love without necessarily being a big fan of the comic book genre. I'm not all that big a fan of comic book superhero movies myself, but I'll go back to see Iron Man again. It's a hoot.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
