Great Adaptation

It's difficult to adapt a 500-page novel for the screen, especially when that novel is written in first person narrative. However, this is one of the best adaptations I have ever seen. This film captures the essence of the emotions in the story and covers all the major plot points. Die-hard fans won't be disappointed, and Twilight newcomers will find an engaging love story. On occasion the acting seems contrived, but the great majority of the film is very real and raw and the creative team in front of the camera and behind did a commendable job presenting new versions of Meyer's characters for audiences to love.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
