This movie was unlike anything I've ever seen before! The look and feel were totally unique. One technique frequently used was a layering of close-ups and long shots, which gave the movie a continuing sense of motion.
I took my two daughters (aged 7½ and 10) and they absolutely loved it, too. There were a few objectionable words and Speed's kid brother makes an obscene gesture. The violence is mostly cartoonish. But despite all the car crashes and gun battles, our body count was zero.
