Epitome of a chick flick

I went to see this because my girlfriend wanted to go. I like musicals, but this one is all glitz and little story line. Drags heavily in spots and the music many times has nothing to do with the story line. Could have easily cut 20-30 minutes off it without making any difference.
Given a choice, I would pass on it. Too many good films out now to waste your time and money.
No, I do not recommend this movie.
