Best supporting actor - Philip Seymour Hoffman. Every scene with him is gripping. Julia is just Julia (again..... argh). Hanks is just ok - poor southern accents - too fake.

Denzel and Russell - cast to perfection in roles they were born to play. Many surprises here - especially Armand Assante as the mob boss - still good looking and a bit "smarmy". Ruby Dee as the "blind leading the blind" mother was all but believable - who is so naive? Overall, loved the flick - enough excitement to keep you mesmerized.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
