Good Visuals, Light Story

Cameron certainly creates a visual spectacle that lasts nearly 3 hours. However, the film lacks the character arcs of his better works. He concentrates on parts of the story that simply move the plot forward and pleases your eyes, rather than what might have been best for the movie overall. Still, it won't disappoint if you're there to see some ludicrous special effects, and the acting is certainly better than in something like Star Wars.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
