This was the single best movie I've seen in years, and Heath Ledger gives one of the great acting performances on film, ever. The action was non-stop and edge-of-your-seat. Imax enhanced this already wild thrill ride. Christian Bale has made this Batman THE Batman, and as both the Dark Knight and Bruce Wayne, he is now the vanguard, making the George Clooney and Val Kilmer experiments a distant memory. Sure there is some preachy dialogue, and C- writing, but the brilliance of the film in the action genre, combined with the masterful performance of Ledger, make this an unforgettable experience unrivaled by the competition and unlikely to be surpassed. Ledger raises the bar for Heroes and Villains alike, blazing a trail for the Comic Book to Movie concept's future potential. The Dark Knight in IMAX was truly one of the great movie experiences I've had in the past several years. You simply can't take your eyes off of The Joker. You hang on his every word, gesture, and facial expression. He's a lock for the Oscar, and you'd be wise to see this film in IMAX. Sit back and enjoy the ride.
