I normally don't like horror films, but this one is more a suspense than a gory slasher films. There are gruesome scenes, but they leave much to the imagination. The cinematic style reminds me of the Hitchcock films. The plot line reminds me of The 6th Sense, in that the ending reframes the whole movie. My wife and I both enjoyed it.
This movie follows the boy finds girl, boy loses girl and boy gets girl back plot line. The chracters and plot are predictable. The film seems to borrow heavily/pay tribute to Star Wars (Han Solo and Princess Leia/Millenium Falcon scene and x-wing/tie fighter battles). Little original story. Special effects are adequate to entertain my teen children. Made for a fun outing.
