My 10 year old son and I both thought this was a great movie. While there was a lot of action, there seemed to be more comedy than the 1st movie. We were a bit confused at the beginning of the movie trying to figure out who the "bad guys" were and what their history was. I woud like to have had a little more background on them, but it did not take away from the quality of the movie. I like that there is not a lot of blood and gore. It is a true family movie. We saw it on opening night and there were kids of all ages there that seemed to enjoy it.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
