Very similar to Borat

If you liked Borat, you will like this. But be advised...some of the scenes in this movie might make you uncomfortable.
Overall, the movie made me laugh but...I dont know...there was something missing. Like a plot. I guess after seeing Borat 3 years ago, I expected something more clever...not the same shocking premise...just with Bruno instead of Borat.

Good Action / Good Flow

I really liked this movie. I thought both lead actors did well to carry the story. It was believable and exciting. Overall I enjoyed this movie.
The cast was well known and each character did well to develop as the movie unfolded.
There were two or three parts in the movie where I thought it could have been done better or questioned "why?" but again, overall the movie was very good.

Best/Funniest movie of the year

Finally, a hilarious movie. Not a bunch of cliches that have already been done. In using the fresh material, some stuff is weird, but still fresh, for lack of a better word.
Lots of surprises and great character development. Reminds me of the good movies they used to make.
I give this movie 5 out of 5 stars.

Pretty good movie

There was a lot of hype regarding this movie and rightly so. Tom Hanks is an excellent actor. It took me a while to not see his movies as Forrest Gump in space, or Forrest Gump as a prison guard. My point is, he always nails the part.
This movie was very interesting but it ended up being more of an action movie than Da Vinci Code. Which, to me, made it more exciting and enjoyable.
Good movie with lots of twists and turns.
I give this movie 4 out of 5 stars.

Once again Christian Bale gets "out acted"

Just as in Batman, Christian Bale's performance was shadowed by Heath Ledger's...well, in Terminator Salvation, Sam Worthington steals the show. Don't get me wrong, Bale did fine, but Sam Worthington had the best part and did a better job.
I absolutely HATE when explosions are done with unrealistic flares. If you have ever seen anything explode in real life (I was in the Army, so I have) they don't explode looking like a flare or firework.
I realize the premise of the movie, but to me, it was a bit too much "Road Warrior" and not enough story telling.
anyway, I still enjoyed it, but it wasnt as good as it should have been.
I give this movie 3 out of 5 stars.

Everything I wanted

This was a great movie. Lots of special effects and a great story. Not being a comic book fan, I had no preconceived notions of the storyline. I loved the twists and turns.
The character development was strong and easily followed.
I recommend this one!
I gave it 4 out of 5 stars.

Awesome Movie

I really enjoyed this movie. It was exciting and full of action. Liam does an excellent job of nailing down this "Jame Bond"-like role. The time zoomed by following his action and intelligence.
My only criticism of this movie is the stupid Mom character. She was so foolish and sneaky. Without spoiling the premise of the movie, Liam's character should have told her "I told you so, IDIOT!"

Too much Spock

Good exciting movie. Very well done. I never watched the original TV shows, but I know the overall premise.
The movie stuck to the classic versions of the characters. Each character was nicely developed and allowed to express themselves. Example: "Im giving it all she's got, Captain" and "Da**it Jim, Im a doctor...." (sorry to star it out, but the admins wont let me use the actual word)
My only criticism is this: Too much Spock. The movie could have carried alternate plots but instead focuses very heavily on Spock.
Anyway, if you are a Trekkie, you will be very pleased. If you are not, you will still enjoy a fine movie.

One of Clint's best

Not sure what I can say that hasnt already been written. This is a great movie - great story, great acting...etc
Im thinking Clint probably wont be able to extend himself in movies like this too much longer. I hope Im wrong!
This movie was a change from most of the traditional characters he has played in the past. Usually he is the tough guy with a heart of gold...and the guns to back it up. This time he is a miserable old man who has little to no patients for anything or anyone.
I give this 5 out 5 stars.

Very Good Movie

I figured this movie would be somewhere between average and good, but I have to say I marked it as excellent.
The beginning of the movie is kind of slow and pathetic. But...it quickly picks up and ends up being HILARIOUS! Kevin James pulls it off.
Since its associated with Adam Sandler, the music is great and the characters are great. In the short period of time for characters to develop each one is identifiable and believable.
I highly recommend this one. Im sure its out of most theaters by now, but be sure to catch it on DVD.
I give this one 5 out of 5 stars.
