Great Movie

Im not a big fan of Science Fiction...at all. But this movie is different. It is a SCI FI movie only on the outside. Within the movie, it turns out to be a pretty good story with lots of social overtones.
This movie is highly recommended.

very strange movie...it was actually pretty funny. the characters were fun and the story ended up being better than average.
the overall movie wasnt great, but I would say that I enjoyed the movie

what a great movie. lots of fun...great action and good dialogue...wasnt too much to ruin it. sure there was an occasional gruesome part, but it was done in the right tone and in the right place in the movie.
great movie with lots of fun.

With all of the talent in this movie...and with a pretty good premise....instead, disappointing movie.
the setup was great, but the rest of the movie was weak. dont get me wrong, there were good parts...I mean, come on, Vince Vaughn is hillarious. But he couldnt carry THIS movie. Just not a funny or good movie.

Overall, I liked both main characters and the story was well written. I like the twists and turns...made the movie very enjoyable.

disappointing movie

The trailer and the movie were completely different. This movie is not a comedy...there are a couple of humorous parts, but definately not comedy.
The characters were well detailed and allowed to develop, but unfortunately, nothing with the story develops.
I would give this a 1 1/2 stars...in between poor and fair.

I thought the premise for this movie was very good. However, after 30 mins or so, it was evident, that we were getting the watered down version.
Overall, I thought the movie was disappointing. I liked it but it never came close to the potential. Wait for DVD

foreign flick with subtitles

Much of this movie is not in English...instead there are subtitles.
However, that doesnt ruin the movie, in fact, it makes it realistic and fun.
The main premise of the group of killers is not the main plot.
Good movie, good acting, good dialogue...

Lots of special effects

to properly rate this movie, there are a few points to make and find a balance.
-The special effects are outstanding.
-The fight scenes are so fast, I had trouble telling the good alien robots from the bad ones.
-The acting is horrible, with the exception of John Turturro. But, you have to accept its a movie about alien robots, so...
-Megan Fox is, hands down, the hottest female in Hollywood.

eh...good movie for kids

Bottom line...not as good as the first or second...but still enjoyable for an adult. My daughter (10) loved it, but the young kid behind was scared of the dinosaur scenes.
Alot of the former story lines with some twists. Again, my daughter really enjoyed and has been talking about for the past week....so, kids will really like it. Adults will endure it.
