Our five year-old grandson wanted to see this movie for his birthday so we took him. We didn't expect much, and my husband even remarked that he hoped he didn't fall asleep, but to our surprise we actually enjoyed the movie and wouldn't mind seeing it again. This was not a "serious" movie with a heavy theme (hence the 4 star rating) but every movie doesn't have to be. This one had characters who were ordinary people set in an extraordinary situation. Accept it for what it sets out to be and you'll find that it's a nice, entertaining, funny, and heartwarming story the entire family can enjoy. Ours did--all 4 adults and 3 children.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
