I went with a group of adults to see this movie and I was the only one who had not seen the first one. It turned out to be a non-issue and wasn't critical to seeing this one. During the first third or so of the movie I was very bored and wondered what I had gotten into. When it was all said and done I was glad that I had gone but wished there was a little more information at the beginning to tie things together. I would have given it an extra 1/2 star if I could. Seeing it during Matinee time would be good since it is cheaper.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

no cliches, just a great movie

Extremely good movie and even my husband enjoyed it immensely. I think they could have made more of the 3D aspect, especially since it costs more to see it. Very touching in spots, even when you were sure it would work out. After all, it is Toy Story. My 18 year old son said there were spots that his eyes watered up. Mine, too.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
