Can I see all art exhibits this way?? I thought this was fascinating, to get an up-close and personal look at all these famous works of art, when normally in a museum you're jockeying for position with a gazillion other people, and then don't you dare get too close! Nice also to get the stories behind some of the paintings and to get a little bit of an inside look at what goes on in a museum in preparation for a big show like this one. And bonus for the unintentionally funny moments scattered throughout the film - those silly Brits! Loved it!
Yes, I recommend this movie.

This is a movie that even people who are not necessarily into dancing can enjoy. It's just not like any dance performances you've ever seen. Pina was a little bit wacky, and that's good for all of us. And this movie gives a little bit of a sense of who she was as a person. There are short clips of her dancers talking about Pina and how they felt about her. Very moving. Beautiful movie.
This is one of the best documentary films I've ever seen. I laughed, I cried, and I ultimately fell in love with Steve "Lips" Kudlow, Robb Reiner and ANVIL. "Lips" really makes the movie. He is, unintentionally, hilarious, but he is also just a sweet, determined, all-heart kind of guy, and you really end up rooting for these guys and hoping against hope that there will be a happy ending for them. They are the real-life Spinal Tap! I dragged my husband and my kids with me to this movie, and thank god they loved it too! The band played after the movie. Great fun.
