weak character development, not shot in a too terribly cinematic fashion, distracting camera work, unbelievable relationship between leads: 'hey, you're my girl. I met you once. Ok, I love you'
Depp was not set up to sympathize with, half an hour could have been dedicated to backstory and nothing substantial would have been needed to be removed from the film.
Performances were very good, director did not have enough demanded of him.
No, I do not recommend this movie.
